Synopsis

When her mom remarries, Amamiya Matsuri suddenly becomes the younger stepsister of Haruka, Azusa, and Rihito—who are supposedly triplets but aren’t, ages 18, 17, and 16—and also members of the wildly popular idol group Terzetto.

Matsuri had always dreamed of having siblings, but disappointment strikes when she learns the “brothers” don’t get along. Determined to help Azusa reconcile the family, she intervenes constantly… until Azusa suddenly confesses his love for her. Chaos, drama, and idol hijinks ensue.

📝 Review

(WARNING: Potential Spoilers — I'm Not Saving You from any Emotional Damage)

Okay, let’s be real. I added this thinking, “Oh cute! Step-siblings! Idol drama! Heartwarming fun!”

Instead, it was… a mess. Matsuri is suddenly shoved into this family, the parents vanish completely, and the show jumps straight to Azusa confessing his love. Like… what? No context. No buildup. Just obsession with zero warning.

The other two brothers are sweet and actually act like siblings, which is a small relief amid the chaos.

Then there’s Subaru, Matsuri’s childhood sweetheart. He pops up already in love, but honestly? He gave me serious “future rapist” vibes in places, although he redeems himself slightly with band/bro moment charm.

Yamato is the only one whose feelings are paced and reasonable. If Matsuri had actual agency instead of constantly reacting with “Huh?” and “What!?” around Azusa, maybe it could’ve worked. As it is, it’s frustrating and shallow.

The episodes are short, barely thirty minutes, which makes the plot feel rushed and thin. Honestly, the only saving grace is that it’s short—so it didn’t waste too much time.

💭 Final Mood:

“Cute idea, hot mess execution, one decent romance, and a lot of frustration. 2/5. Would only recommend if you’re looking for a very short, very chaotic idol drama that doesn’t make sense.”
